Core of Humans, good or evil?

Some people say at the core of all humans is good and kindness. Some would say it is evil. Some would say it is a mixture of both. The question of which one is it would be the wrong question as this question has been asked for centuries and not much has changed or been figured out into this mystery. The question we need to be asking is, what is the level of consciousness of the individual and also the level of the masses on this planet.
