Enlightenment is the Beginning

Enlightenment is baseline for a human, the beginning. There is nothing special, magical or esoteric about becoming self-realized. But god bless us humans on the spiritual path for making it more difficult and complex than it ever needs to be. As a great teacher once said, “only the phonies don’t get enlightened.” Be sure to listen to those at the top of the mountain or be like a dog chasing your tail.
